3PHASE Lingua Group teaches footballers and athletes throughout Europe. This time it's another German international playing for the traditional club AS Roma. Antonio Rüdiger played at the beginning of his career for several clubs in Berlin. In 2008 he joined the youth team of Borussia Dortmund to eventually join the VfB Stuttgart in spring 2011. Since 2015 Antonio Rüdiger has been playing on loan with option to buy for the international top club AS Roma.
On 23 July 2011 Rüdiger had his debut for the second team of VfB Stuttgart. On 29 January 2012, Rüdiger made his Bundesliga debut for VfB Stuttgart's first team in a home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. He had his first appearance in the UEFA Europa League on 4 October 2012. On 19 April 2013, Rüdiger extended his contract with VfB Stuttgart until June 2017. He scored his first goal for Stuttgart on 1 September 2013. On 19 August 2015, Serie A club AS Roma signed Rüdiger on loan from VfB Stuttgart. The clubs agreed on an optional 9 million € transfer fee at the end of the one-year contract.
Antonio Rüdiger gave his debut in the Serie A on September 12th 2015 against Frosinone Calcio. Four days later he was in the starting eleven against FC Barcelona on the opening day of the group stage for the first time in the Champions League.
Antonio Rüdiger wants to give his best in the Serie A and in the Champions League and he also would like to be part of the German national team during the European cup in 2016:
''I went to a club, which plays in the Champions League and is one of the biggest and most traditional clubs in Italy". I think my chances are quite good to be part of the team'', he added regarding the World Cup next year in France. He had even spoken to the German team coach Joachim Loew about his move from the VfB Stuttgart to Italy. ''He liked that idea and found it very interesting. He likes the way the coach Rudi Garcia coaches the team here."
Antonio Rüdiger wants to gain a lot of experience in Italy and he wants to get experience in the land of the defensive artists. With his move to AS Roma Antonio Rüdiger wants to make a step forward. Focused and confident, the 22-year-old presented himelf at his new club AS Roma with the following message: "I think this change will be very positive for me.''
